Cal South Soccer Foundation is welcoming fans and donors to Matador Cantina, Fullerton, CA, on November 21st and 25th to cheer on Team USA in their first two World Cup games.
Fullerton, California (November,10th 2022) – as World Cup fever begins to peak, the Cal South Soccer Federation (CSSF) is hosting two action-packed viewing party fundraisers for Team USA’s opening World Cup games against Wales and England. In addition to bringing fans together to enjoy the games, CSSF aims to use these events to raise valuable funding for soccer programs and to create community awareness of the Foundation and its initiatives.
The events will take place at Matador Cantina in Fullerton, CA, on the 21st and 25th of November, during the opening week of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Both watch parties will be identical as each game kicks off at 11 am. Tickets are available for presale online, via the following links:
Event Details
- Venue: Matador Cantina- 111 N Harbor Blvd Fullerton, CA 92832
- Event Opening: 10 am
- Kick Off: 11 am
- Fundraiser Raffle: after the game
- Event Closes: 2 pm
- Ticket Cost: $55 per person (includes admission, taco buffet, one drink ticket for beer or wine, one raffle ticket, and a swag bag)
Attendees will enjoy the games from Matador Cantina’s Agave Room, where there will be multiple TVs, tables, and seating areas. Food will be served buffet style from Matador Cantina’s award-winning kitchen. After the game has ended, CSSF will draw the raffle and conclude the event.
All profits from event tickets will go directly into local soccer programming and CSSF initiatives. Event participants can also make donations on the day by scanning QR codes which will be placed on every table. The CSSF fundraising goal is $10,000 over both events.

The Foundation is currently searching for sponsors for the event. We welcome any sponsors who are interested in contributing financially or supplying materials for our swag bags, which will be given to each attendee.
